Long night for me and Deb and my 30 other District Leaders from New Rochelle City Council District #6 (“North End”) at the Westchester Democratic Convention at the County Center. Two judgeship nominations were won on close, recounted votes and my friend, State Senator George Latimer, was named Party Designee for County Executive. The lulls between speeches and casting votes let us spend quality time with old friends from New Rochelle and greet new ones from the Eastchester and Tuckahoe delegations seated right next to us.
